Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using aftrmi, a service operated by RIPAPP LLC ("aftrmi," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, mobile application, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
aftrmi is a digital estate planning platform that helps you organize your estate information, create documents such as wills and directives, manage assets and members, and store sensitive information securely. aftrmi is not a law firm or a substitute for an attorney, and we do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. No attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of the Service, and, even though we always make our best efforts to keep your information confidential and secure, your communications with aftrmi are not protected by attorney-client privilege. See our Disclaimer for important limitations.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Registration
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You may optionally add a phone number for backup access. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of all information, documents, and data you enter into aftrmi ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not sell, share, or use Your Content for advertising or marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate another person or create documents on behalf of someone without their consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
7. Fees and Billing
aftrmi is currently free during our private beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will provide reasonable notice before any fees apply to your account. You will not be charged without your explicit consent.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time through the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, you may request export of Your Content for 30 days. After that period, we may delete your data in accordance with our retention policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, aftrmi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any documents generated will be legally valid in your jurisdiction.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless aftrmi, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. This does not prevent you from filing complaints with applicable regulatory agencies.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
